Just because we play World of Warcraft doesn’t mean we don’t know how to party! Recently, while visiting good friends (and guild-mates) in their apartment in Jersey City we were looking through their book of 10,000 mixed drinks. Their collection of mixers and alcohol was formidable, but there was one ingredient in their fridge that I coveted more than any other.
Soda, Mountain Dew in particular is pretty awful stuff normally, but serious gamers know that there is no better drink to help get charged up for a night of battling goblins. Mountain Dew seems to understand this, and has recently launched two limited edition sodas tied into the biggest online game ever, World of Warcraft. Not only am I sucker for anything with the words “limited” and “edition” on it, but also anything World of Warcraft.
In the game, there are two sides to play on Alliance and Horde. No matter which side a person plays on, they begin to become very attached to it over time, so it was a smart move to make an Alliance-themed and Horde- themed soda. Let the battle of the mixed drinks begin!

The Thrall
This is the drink I created from a modified recipe called a Starseeker. Since I used the Horde version of Game Fuel and serious punch, I named it after the leader of the Horde, Thrall.
2 parts rum
a Splash of Amaretto (best replacement for elf blood)
Fill with Horde Game Fuel
Pour into ice-filled glass
The Booty Bay
Alex grabbed the Alliance Game Fuel. The drink she created is also rum based and as blue as the tropical waters off the coast of our favorite pirate village, so it was given the name The Booty Bay.
2 parts rum
1 part seltzer water
1 part Alliance Game Fuel
Pour into ice-filled glass
After all the rum was gone, we decided regardless of alcohol and our Alliance affiliation, the better of the two sodas was the Horde Game Fuel. Both mixed drinks were tasty in their own way, so give them a try… FOR A LIMITED TIME ONLY!

Limited time only you say? Well that’s all I needed to know
Nice Cups, what size were they? I hear Game Fuel’s gonna be re-released this year and I’m dying to give this recipe a shot.
Great post, very engoyable read and I agree with most of what you say
Thanks you so much for your insight. Your post is greatly appreciated. Continue to do a good job.
Before I started using the Zygor quest guide, I would simply take every quest I found. it drove me nuts. that’s one of the things I love about the guide, it suggests quests that have the best xp and gold, plus the ones that give the best loot.
my sister plays WOW non stop I interduced her to it and she has been trying to download it from the main server to her new mac but it crashes all the time. Maybe WOW hates mac’s Any idea it’s the new macbook pro aswell
