liner paper is usually a higher quality to allow durability and bending. make sure you work the paper back and forth while its still somewhat wet to make sure it can bend.

Does the liner paper have some special property that allows it to bend backwards with the front flap? My front cover doesn’t bend backwards like yours does due to the paper not ‘stretching’.
